ICYMI: Stranger Things Day 2019 was incredible

Reading time: 2 minutes

November 6th, 1983. The anniversary of Will Byer’s disappearance and because of this, it’s now known as ‘Stranger Things day’ worldwide.

Fans have badgered the Stranger Writers for months for a measly bit of content:

And they finally got what they wanted in the form of… blooper reels from each season and an episode title!

For most TV shows, blooper reels are almost as watched as the show, but Stranger Things has famously held back on a full blooper reel.

Maybe the Duffer brothers didn’t want to take the serious, scary, exhilarating feel from the show by showing us the times where it went wrong. But with a fanbase as strong as ST’s, fan lapped it up and are more enthralled for the upcoming season.

Here they are in all their glory:

We can’t choose which blooper we like best, but the party-boy Demagorgon and GRANDMAA fail are up there.

And just when fans thought they’d been spoilt enough, the ST team blessed us with the title of the first episode of season 4:

The Hellfire club

Episode titles often change, especially when it’s this early, so we’re taking it with a pinch of salt. But we are already speculating. Here’s what Wikipedia has to say about it:

Hellfire Club was a name for several exclusive clubs for high society rakes established in Britain and Ireland in the 18th century… Such clubs were rumoured to be the meeting places of “persons of quality” who wished to take part in socially perceived immoral acts, and the members were often involved in politics.

With the mention of ‘immoral acts’ we’re not so sure if this has anything to do with the kids (but they’re not exactly kids anymore, are they?). Could this be something to do with Russia? Could it be the adults in Hawkins? Or outside, seeing as we’ve already been told WE’RE NOT IN HAWKINS ANYMORE?

The only other tidbit of info we have is that four new characters are to be introduced in season 4, including a metal head and an entitled jock.

Either way, we cannot wait. Stranger Things day did not disappoint and we’ve seen Winona Ryder dance multiple times across three seasons. Totally tubular.
